在圣. 365比分网电竞, we promote artistic expression and experience on stage, through exhibitions and behind the camera or curtain — across our community as well as in the classroom.

所有St的学生. 爱德华的 enjoy opportunities to deepen their connection to the arts. 通过学生组织, 团体及场地, they join with professionals to produce and perform a wide-range of 音乐 and dance. They view and participate in art exhibits on campus and interact with nationally respected visiting artists. And they stretch their theatrical talents in creative and experimental plays, whether performed on the steps of Holy Cross Hall or the stage of 玛丽·穆迪北方剧院.

Here is a sampling of theater, 音乐 and visual art groups, performances and venues:

芭蕾舞Folklorico

Performing and celebrating traditional Latin American dances, 提高文化意识, 语言, 音乐, history and other aspects of cultural diversity.

Here students can celebrate the artistic achievements of their peers and faculty or rub elbows with prominent artists from around the country through portfolio exhibitions and special shows. Both a teaching gallery and exhibition venue, the gallery is located in the Fine 艺术s Center on the northwest corner of campus. Past visiting artists and guest lecturers have included Michael Kellner, Alexandra Robinson and Carol Fluekiger.

玛丽·穆迪北方剧院

This 178-seat arena theater houses our nationally recognized 戏剧艺术 program. Through 玛丽·穆迪北方剧院, St. 爱德华的 University students and faculty work alongside professional guest artists and produce four plays each season. Sell-out audiences enjoy a varied repertoire, 包括古典作品, contemporary plays and Broadway 音乐als. The theater is affiliated with the Actors' Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers in the United States, and is a member of the 剧院 沟通s Group.

St的学生. 爱德华的 create innovative theater on their own terms through the 过境剧团. The Troupe produces site-specific theatrical works in varying locations around campus, providing opportunities for theater artists to complement their main stage experiences. 剧团创作新剧本, bravura contemporary works such as "SubUrbia" by Eric Bogosian and "Recent Tragic 事件" by Craig Wright, 重新想象经典文本. Local charities benefit from plays performed by the 过境剧团.

音乐组合

圣. 爱德华的 sponsors four performance groups who entertain audiences on and off campus. Groups include: Hilltopper Chorale (classical, 福音, 和老爷子), 全能歌手(音乐剧), 歌舞), 爵士合唱团(爵士), and the Madrigal Singers (Renaissance style).

Instrumental groups also add to the 音乐al life of our campus community. 山顶是圣. 爱德华管弦乐团，圣. 爱德华室内乐合奏团, the Mariachi Alas de Oro (classical and popular 音乐 of Mexico) and the Steady jazz band.
